In the corner between Italy and Austria, there is a small country hiding some truly beautiful sceneries, food and people. I am of course talking about Slovenia. I’ve been visiting the northern part, where also the talles mountain of Slovenia is: the Triglav, 2863m tall. This is the highest peak of Slovenia, and if you take a good look at the national flag, you will see this mountain on the flag.
Around this mountain is the big Triglav National Park located. This national park is ideal for hiking, (mountain)biking, climbing, swimming and in the winter also skiing as there is a small ski resort located close to the lake.
